I am a bilingual and bicultural licensed clinical psychologist in Minnesota currently seeing children, adolescents, adults, and families in my private practice. As a native Spanish-speaker, I am able to offer services in both English and Spanish.

I received my Ph.D. in clinical child psychology from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota, where I was advised by world-renowned researchers, Dr. Dante Cicchetti and Dr. Ann Masten. Although I started my training in psychology with the goal of becoming a clinical researcher, I realized through hands-on experience that for me it was more fulfilling to work one-on-one with clients. I continue to value, consume, and apply clinical research in my practice.

I am committed to delivering evidenced-based treatment, to help achieve meaningful change as efficiently as possible. I also recognize the importance of being flexible in the integration and implementation of these practices.

My approach to therapy is individualized to the specific needs of clients, as people respond to different interventions. I work collaboratively with clients to find what works best for them. I strive to be inviting and non-judgmental in my interactions with clients to encourage them to talk openly about the contextual factors they consider particularly important to their mental health.

My aim is to respond compassionately and create a therapeutic environment that facilitates openness and growth.
